Tracy L. - Instructor
Tracy has a unique teaching style born from a pure joy of movement that integrates a wealth of learning for a sustainable practice designed to enhance physical longevity and brain plasticity. Her journey began nearly two decades ago while training for the Boston marathon, hoping yoga would help her recovery. Her expectations were far exceeded when she experienced the many benefits of connecting breath, body and mind, and realized yoga offered an awareness she didn’t know she needed. Since then she’s built upon her yogic-foundation with over 1,500 hours of education and training, becoming a much more diverse movement teacher that challenges body and brain with creative and dynamic motion. Her practice implements elements, props, textures and challenges in a playful, supportive and empowering environment to help students better connect with their inherent strength. Targeted benefits include overall whole-body awareness with increased stability, mobility, dexterity, balance and strength through range of motion. Tracy is currently pursuing basic understanding of biomechanics and kinesiology concepts.
